My talented son painting :oD |
Last weekend I had the great fortune to convince my teenage son to join me on a sketching expedition, along with his buddy and his Dad. We went to a great local spot: downtown Toronto's fantastic
Riverdale Farm. It's open year-round from 9-5, and it's *free*. It's also really close to my house so I trek there quite often.
We brought sketchbooks, pencils, pigment-ink felt pens and a tiny watercolour set I made decades ago that still serves me well.
It was a great way to spend a rainy March afternoon. I hope we have many more sketching trips as fun as this one.
